What is your favourite part of your job?
``I have to be honest, I’m not in many appointments but when I am, nothing pleases me more than finding the bride a dress she hadn’t picked out herself and she says YES to the dress I picked for her.``
Do you find it hard having a Scottish accent when dealing with customers?
``Absolutely not, I have so much fun as soon as people hear my accent they mostly have a blank look which is one of “Omg” is she Irish or Scottish. Or they are saying in their head “Omg” I have family in Scotland and they can’t wait to talk to me about their family history which I love hearing about.``
What is your favourite thing to do, outside of work?
``I love to spend time with my family and friends, we are a family who loves to travel and explore so moving to Canada we can explore until our wee hearts are content.``
What do you love about your job?
``I love seeing people happy in general so this is the perfect job for me! Being able to help people on this special journey is pretty awesome.``
Favourite thing to do in our spare time
Spending time with my daughter, family and going outdoors.
Favourite dress in store
``I'm in love with ball gowns with horsehair trimmed skirts.``
What is your favourite dress in the store right now?
``I would say I have a few but if I really had to pick one favourite, it would be ``Breah`` by Madison James. I love this dress because of its unique lace pattern paired with a plunging low back which is just stunning.``
Do you think coming from a bridal store in Scotland, the dress preferences for brides are different?
``Yes, brides in Canada have a more relaxed and whimsical feel to their weddings, whereas in Scotland the brides tend to get married in castles and therefore have a more princess style wedding.``
What style of dress do you want to get married in?
``Oh, that's an extremely hard question to answer! I have a Bachelors Degree in fashion and this always makes my clothing decisions very hard. I change my mind on my outfit choices for the weekend at least three times so I will be a nightmare bride.``
What is the most enjoyable part about working at EBTG?

What are you looking forward to in 2019?
``Being engaged! I said yes in late August so I'm excited to really dive into the nit and grit of planning everything.``
How did you come to work for EBTG?
``My sister Daniella! She is a consultant for the salon and had asked me to volunteer at one of the bridal shows and I fell in love with the dresses. Its funny because she’s my younger sister and there has always been an air of sibling rivalry between us. Everything I could do she could do better and vice versa, but here at the salon we work together superbly finding each bride their perfect dress!``
What is your funniest Salon Story?
``This bride had come into the salon to try on dresses for the first time. She gravitated towards one and tried it on first. This dress fit her like a glove; the back of the gown was incredible and she wanted to see the full picture. I passed her a hand mirror so that she could take a good look and as soon as she saw the dress she dropped the mirror. Glass shards flew everywhere but she didn’t care. It was her dream dress in real life!``
What are your hobbies?
``Singing is my passion. I sing in two cover bands, but I’m always striving for more. Currently trying to learn keys and guitar to take my singing to the next level.``
